From December 1st to 2nd, in 2018, “Analytical Chemistry Annual Conference and Environmental Chemistry Symposium of Sichuan Chemical Society” was successfully held at the International Conference Center of the Jiuli Campus of our school. The conference was hosted by the Analytical Chemistry Committee of the Sichuan Chemical Society, and organized by the Faculty of Geosciences and Environmental Engineering with the assist of the National-Province Joint Engineer Laboratory in Spatial Information Technology for High-Speed Railways and Sichuan Provincial Key Laboratory of Regional Ambient Air Quality Monitoring. Many experts and scholars participated in the conference from the fields of analytical chemistry and environmental chemistry research of various universities and related institutions in and around Sichuan province.

During the two-day conference, a total of 31 special reports and 5 youth reports were conducted. Experts and scholars have conducted in-depth exchanges and discussions on the related theoretical research and application of research methods such as sample pretreatment technology, spectral analysis methods, environmental pollutant treatment technologies and environmental nanomaterials.

It is worth mentioning that the Professor Gangfeng Ouyang of Sun Yat-sen University had a report entitled "Solid Phase Microextraction Probe Development andIn VivoDetection", which provided new ideas and methods for living body detection. Lihua Zhang, a researcher at the Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, brought a special report on “the study of the health effects of atmospheric fine particles based on the dynamic analysis of proteomics”, and reported on the quantitative analysis of proteomics, rapid processing of protein samples and quantitative analysis. Qian Liu, a researcher at the Research Center for Eco-Environmental Sciences of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, gave a report on “the Source Screening of Nanoparticles in Environment and Organisms”. Professor XianDeng Hou and Yi Lv of Sichuan University gave some interesting reports. More importantly, Dongmei Wang and Zhengjun Gong of our research group had some significant reports in the conference.
